Confined Spaces (Entry & Attendant)

Course Description

Duration: 1 Day What you’ll learn? The aim of this training is to provide delegates with the knowledge and skills needed to identify and control confined space hazards effectively. Participants will be trained to recognize potential dangers, understand the use and importance of atmospheric monitors, ventilators, and other entry equipment, and follow the specific provisions of the confined space program applicable to their work location. The course covers key topics such as confined space hazards and control measures, relevant legislation including the US OSHA CSE Standard 29-CFR-1910-146 and the UK HSE Confined Space Regulations 1997, and the roles and responsibilities of personnel involved in confined space entries. This includes the duties of the attendant, entrant, supervisor, and rescue team, ensuring that all participants are fully prepared to work safely within and around confined spaces.
