Course Description
Duration: 2 Days What you’ll learn? This course is designed to provide delegates with essential safety information and best practices to ensure compliance with safe working procedures when working at heights. Based on OSHA 1926 Subpart M regulations, the training aims to equip participants with a thorough understanding of when fall protection is required, the different types of fall protection systems, and how to properly use them. Key topics include free fall distance calculations, training requirements, and an overview of systems such as guardrails, safety nets, personal fall arrest systems (PFAS), positioning devices, warning lines, controlled access zones (CAZ), safety monitoring systems, and object fall protection. The course also covers components like lifelines, anchorage points, connectors, and deceleration devices, all essential for a comprehensive fall protection plan. Participants will benefit from both theoretical knowledge and practical demonstrations, including the proper usage of PFAS and educational video content to reinforce safe working at heights practices.
