Course Description

GPSM Consultants Inc First Aid, CPR, and AED training equips individuals with the essential skills to recognize emergencies, handle breathing and cardiac issues, and provide life-saving first aid until professional help arrives. Participants will learn to identify signs and symptoms of medical emergencies, such as breathing problems, cardiac arrest, and injuries. The course covers CPR, rescue breathing, and the use of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator). It also teaches how to assess the scene, evaluate the condition of a victim, and provide appropriate first aid for injuries like wounds, burns, and fractures. Emphasis is placed on infection control and preventing disease transmission during first aid. The training also covers life-sustaining techniques, such as controlling bleeding, splinting fractures, and managing life-threatening conditions, along with methods for managing choking in both adults and children. Participants will practice these techniques using manikins to develop hands-on skills.
