Course Description

Duration: 4 days What you’ll learn? The aim of this training is to provide delegates, including those requiring training or HSE professionals, with comprehensive OSHA General Industry training. Participants will gain a solid understanding of key occupational safety and health topics such as emergency action plans, fire and electrical safety, safety management systems, machine safety, and hazard communication. The course covers the OSH Act and OSHA standards, workplace inspections, citations and penalties, recordkeeping, and the development of safety and health programs. Additional areas of focus include hazard identification, accident investigation, proper use of hand and power tools, lockout/tagout procedures, PPE, flammable and combustible liquids, chemical hazard communication, walking and working surfaces, welding and cutting safety, fire protection, machine guarding, confined spaces, signage, and ergonomics. This training ensures that participants are equipped with the knowledge needed to recognize and mitigate hazards in the general industry setting.
