Course Description

Duration: 6 weeks (Mon -Sat) What you’ll learn? This training is designed to equip delegates, particularly those requiring HSE training or working as HSE professionals, with a comprehensive understanding of fire hazards associated with heat-related tasks and the necessary fire prevention measures. Participants will gain knowledge in identifying common fuel and ignition sources, understanding the definition and risks of hot work, and the importance of hot work permits and user responsibilities. The course also covers the safe operation of welding and cutting equipment, including welding, cutting, and brazing techniques, and introduces key elements of a welding safety program. Additionally, it emphasizes the identification of welding hazards, general safe work practices, fire theory, and essential fire safety procedures before, during, and after performing hot work. Accreditation: This course is designed by our well qualified trailer with extensive experience and certified by the Government of Guyana. Certification will be issued on successful completion of the course.
